I grew up in Eugene, Oregon and graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. My project in the Zid lab aims to profile RNA modifications during stress. Prior to joining the Zid lab, I worked with Dr. Sean Elliott in Boston University’s Chemistry department studying the kinetics of a sulfite reductase enzyme and with Dr. Jessica Whited at the Brigham Regenerative Medicine Center of Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital researching limb regeneration in axolotl salamanders. Outside of the lab, I enjoy cooking, hiking, reading, and searching for San Diego’s best tacos.
